What is Financial Planning?
Take Control of your Situation.
-
Planning.
Financial Planning is an ongoing process that involves a step-by-step approach to help meet one’s life goals. It acts as a guide to walk you through life’s journey and essentially allows you to be in control of your income, expenses, and investments in order for you to better manage your money and stay on track with your personal goals.
-
The Process.
Identify your Financial Situation.
Determine your Financial Goals.
Identify Alternatives for Investment.
Evaluate Alternatives.
Put together a Plan and Implement it in your life.*
Review, Re-evaluate and Monitor the Plan.
-
The Plan.
The Financial Plan itself should be viewed as an overview of your current financial situation. The plan will be used as an aid to solidify your goals, identify potential opportunities, and compare solutions to your needs. Updating and implementing changes in your financial plan may be necessary through the years as your life circumstances shift.

*You have a choice to implement the recommendations in your financial plan on your own, with your Financial Planner, or through another financial services professional. If you choose to implement your plan with your Financial Planner, he or she may sell other services or products to you in his or her capacities as (i) an investment adviser representative (“Advisory Representative”), (ii) registered representative of Price Securities, LLC, and/or (iii) a licensed insurance agent of Prudential (collectively “Prudential Representative.”)
